3. Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary. You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings or profile information.
• Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users.
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Upload content that is offensive, inappropriate, or violates the rights of others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other user accounts or Platform systems.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Platform without prior written consent.

5. Listings & Content

Users who list rooms are solely responsible for the accuracy of listing information, including rent amount, location, amenities, and photos. All uploaded images are verified for appropriateness. The Platform reserves the right to remove any listing or content that violates these terms.

6. Privacy & Data

Your privacy is important to us. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as described below:

• Profile information (name, age, gender, occupation) is used for roommate matching.
• Lifestyle preferences are used to calculate compatibility scores.
• Location data is used to find nearby listings within your search radius.
• Contact details are only shared with users after mutual consent (accepted invites).
• Private address information is only visible to the listing owner and approved connections.

7. Communication

The Platform facilitates connections between room seekers and offerers through an invite system. By accepting an invite, you consent to sharing your contact information with the other party. All communication should be respectful and professional.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of user profiles or listings, the suitability of any roommate match, or the safety of any living arrangement. Users are advised to exercise due diligence and meet in safe, public settings before entering into any roommate agreement.

9. Limitation of Liability

Project Roomate shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to disputes between users, property damage, or personal injury resulting from roommate arrangements made through the Platform.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms, without prior notice. You may delete your account at any time through the Platform settings.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify users of significant changes via the Platform.
